It takes an extremely long time for the food to arrive every time you visit, the staff are not necessarily friendly (which is also reflected in the non-customer-oriented responses to the reviews here) and card payments are not even possible in times of Corona (which in the year 2020 should in principle be a matter of course).

Nice location, third class food This location is recommended for sitting down comfortably and having coffee and cake. Everyone who wants to eat something should look for something else.

Cozy café / restaurant with delicious dishes. Homemade pasta, tarte flambée, burgers and and and. Reasonable prices and friendly wait staff. We have now been here more often and every time we are thrilled. Nice shady outside area. We recommend.

Yesterday had a really nice evening outside in the glass house. The food was delicious, we were particularly pleased that there is now pizza made from whole grain dough and several vegan dishes. We have a vegetarian diet ourselves, but we also like to eat a vegan dish and our children and friends who are vegan are really happy about it! Our waitress was especially great that evening. Super friendly and carried out all Corona measures in an exemplary manner (had the mask correctly over his mouth and nose the whole time, tables and cards disinfected as soon as someone got up, etc.). We look forward to the next visit!

First visit and immediately disappointed. Breakfast is served until 11:45 a.m. We arrived at 11:30 am to enjoy a late breakfast. After we were assigned a seat, we first had to wait. We were greeted with the question of whether we needed a card after 15 minutes. When the service staff brought us the menu, we asked about breakfast. The question was probably very disturbing for the young man and disappeared for now. After a few moments he came back and told us that there was no more breakfast and referred to the current time. It was 11:47 a.m. We left immediately. We won't come again either, because the first impression is of course only given once. The central location and beautiful surroundings have probably replaced the idea of ​​service here. Extremely poor. What a shame...

Apart from the amazing menu there are always special dishes and drinks written on boards which are always worth trying. Friendly staff, rustic interiors, and above all, delicious food. In addition to the elaborate breakfast and lunch menus, they've got the "Tageskarte" with interesting dishes. Plenty of options for drinks as well. The only thing missing was desserts. They had no menu at all. Looks like they prepare just one dessert each day. In any case, the food portions are so big, few would really want a dessert perhaps. Overall, looking forward to go there again!

Great experience dining alone when in Bad Schönborn for a work engagement. Though I don't speak German, I received good service. The chicken sandwich that I ordered was far bigger than I expected. I returned with a co-worker and had a salad as well as the tarte flambee. The salad was phenomenal and the tarte was ok. This place is laid back, has nice outdoor seating in the summer, and a varied beer selection. Pricing is reasonable.
